![]() ![]() ‘But they will shatter houses like ours somewhere, wherever they are going. “‘No, not our house, thank the Lord,’ sighed Father. They wouldn’t!’ exclaimed Jancsi, casting a threatening glance at the cannon. <33 Hands-down one of my top 10 favourite books.Ī Favourite Quote: “‘Cannon,’ said Father ‘They could throw a shell from here to the farm and shatter the house.’ I could ramble on but I’ll just say, it is amazing and beautiful and I ended up teary-eyed at the end. <33 It is brilliantly well-written, and is just so full of truth and beauty and wisdom. The stress it lays upon how horrible war is and how the enemy is really people just like us… The big Russians and the tiny German children… my heart. all the character were so real and strong and noble. You don’t often see books from the German POV instead of the Allied one. I loved seeing how the war affected them. It was very funny at times, but mostly it tugged at my heart so much. ![]() ![]() ![]() It was just so beautiful and quaint and old-fashioned and happy and sunshiny. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. To celebrate the release of the major motion picture trilogy, we will be reissuing the A-format paperbacks with exclusive images from the films on the covers, the first of which being The Fellowship of the Ring, in which the young hobbit, Frodo, is bequeathed a magical ring from his Uncle Bilbo, and learns that he must take it into the land of the Dark Lord, Sauron, and cast it into the Cracks of Doom. Tolkien created a vast new mythology in an invented world which has proved timeless in its appeal. By turns comic and homely, epic and diabolic, the narrative moves through countless changes of scene and character in an imaginary world which is totally convincing in its detail. The first part of Tolkien's epic masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings, featuring an exclusive cover image from the film Impossible to describe in a few words, JRR Tolkien's great work of imaginative fiction has been labelled both a heroic romance and a classic fantasy fiction. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() IN THE LAST year I have come to understand the traitorous nature of skin. And.there definitely was a lot of jealousy and competition in the office and throughout the entire garment industry from what I could see. Or more likely what about Mario who may have done it out of sheer jealousy. Perhaps Carmella killed him and not Jeremy for no other motive than a good old-fashioned garment district reason? Or how about her husband who found out about her affair. She kept trying to figure out who besides Jeremy would have a reason to kill Gracie. Laura also was conducting her own investigation, but it wasn't going very well for her. ![]() Regardless, the police arrested Jeremy, and their investigation continued while he was in jail. Show More scarf wrapped around her neck? Hmmmmm.with material fragments on his hands and clothes, and his being the only one in the office, who else could they suspect? No one for now, but Laura couldn't believe Jeremy killed Gracie, and since Laura was in love with him she tried to find out who really did strangle Gracie. ![]() ![]() This is what has fueled me creatively to take some of my best and most powerful images. Photography is a complex and meaningful medium, there are so many aspects that I love about it, but above all, the fact that a image can have such a strong visual impact on a persons emotions. Photography became my outlet, every spare second I had was spent honing my skills and creating new images. I have always been a creative individual, in college I tried to find my niche in numerous mediums, but it wasn't until my Junior year that I took my first film based photography class and fell in love. My mother is and has always been a camera freak, whenever she had the chance she was always taking pictures of my sister and me and whenever I had the chance I would steal the camera and take pictures of anything and everything I found interesting. My upbringing has had a lot to do with me becoming a photographer.
